FAREWELL RICHARD...

 

Dear Guests, Friends, and Companions along the way,

After 13 eventful, intense, and wonderful years, the time has come to say farewell.

On December 15, 2025, we will be closing Restaurant Richard / Richard Bistro in Berlin – a decision that has been anything but easy for me.
Personal reasons have played a part, as well as the noticeable changes in the world of gastronomy, especially in the years following 2020. The challenges have grown – and with them, the desire for a new chapter.

What remains are countless memories: of evenings full of enjoyment, inspiring conversations, special encounters – and of you, our wonderful guests, who have accompanied, supported, and celebrated with us throughout all these years.

My heartfelt thanks also go to my great team of the past 13 years – without you, Richard would never have been what it was: a place of taste, hospitality, and passion.

Until December 15, we look forward to many more cherished encounters with you – and perhaps one last glass of wine to all that has been.

The chapter “Richard” is closing, but perhaps a new one may open:
This very special restaurant is available to be taken over.
